Sohan Singh (1907-2000) was a librarian, expert on adult education with Government of India, a Unesco consultant who published one book (entitled Sumanvani) containing poems in Punjabi language in 1942 at Lahore in British India. He served as Librarian, Dyal Singh Public Library, Lahore during 1933-1946 before moving to teaching of philosophy in Dyal Singh College, Lahore in 1946. After partition of the country in 1947, he moved to Delhi where he served as Library Director with Asia Foundation, Adviser to Ministry of Education, Govt of India during 1960s, and served for Unesco in Liberia and Afghanistan during 1969-1974.
