Saturday morning, summertime glory,
words on stone, their silent story...
(It's late, and I'm downloading these pictures
in front of a McDonalds that won't serve walk-ups,
in Baltimore, MD, around 11:30 PM....so, can't expect
my couplets to be doubly good.
Mary Mapes Dodge -- how interesting that her grave is so close to that of Stephen Crane -- (you might be able to spit a watermelon seed between them with a good gale wind)...
The historian of the cemetery came by and told me lots of interesting facts about this cemetery...and told me about a NEW dead poet! He couldn't remember where the stone was, however....
The Crane Family Marker is the one in the far background.
