While some past NPRD events have been planned in conjunction with State Arts Agencies, most events take place in conjunction with poetry associations and with the support of State Poets Laureate and groups of like-minded individuals.
Be Creative! Our dead poets were, and they appreciate your concern.
National Poets Remembrance Day takes place on October 7th, or the weekend closest to the 7th if the 7th is a weekday.
