6 - 7:30. The 9/11 Anniversary Commemorations will begin Friday night in Memorial Park with a Candlelight Vigil honoring the soldiers from Maine who have been lost since 9/11. Major General John. W. Libby will be the guest speaker and the solemn remembrance will end with a bugler and piper echoing taps across the Park.
8 - 9:30. From there, we will move next door to the Hilton Garden Hotel where there will be music from the Freeport High School Chamber Choir followed by a Photo Documentary put together by a first responder to the Twin Towers site.
Both events will include special patriotic music.
